ATSUSHI  OGATA

Atsushi Ogata is an award-winning actor recently returning to New York City. Raised in Tokyo and New York, Atsushi graduated from Harvard and MIT.

Trained in acting at HB Studio in New York, Atsushi appeared weekly as a comedian on Dutch national TV in the Netherlands, and in films, videos and web series, screened at festivals,  cinemas, Japanese TV, British streaming platforms, European museums and international airlines. 

Atsushi's  iconic, comedic, cross-cultural  character Yukata Cowboy ® has been garnering prizes at festivals around the world, ranking #12 in the Web Series World Cup in 2015 and 2021. More information on Atsushi's work as a writer-director can be found here. 

Atsushi has also performed improv and stand-ups in English  in Amsterdam, Tokyo and New York. 

In his free time, Atsushi likes to skate, ski, travel and see friends in Central Park. He is also fluent in Japanese and adequate in French.
